WHAT IT IS
NOT A KIDS CAMP. A FOUNDATION
GameSpeed Camp is built around one idea: the habits that make a competitive athlete at 13 are built at 8, 9, 10. Every session is speed mechanics, change of direction, and athletic foundations — with multi-sport application work and a parent-attended championship showcase to close the week.
The movement patterns we drill : separation, marking, closeouts, hand-eye tracking, transfer directly to basketball, soccer, lacrosse, rugby, baseball, and football. It's also dryland training for hockey: the acceleration, deceleration, and change-of-direction mechanics are the same ones that translate to the ice.
This is foundational movement development for any ground sport. Athletes train the skill, not a single sport's playbook.
Athletes train on the same SmartSpeed timing system used in AP's combine testing. Every athlete leaves with a verified personal best on record.

INTRO ACCELERATION
Warmup, acceleration mechanics, deceleration tools and drills.
SmartSpeed intro, first relay games.

CHANGE DIRECTION
Deceleration mechanics, footwork drills and patterns, shuttle drills, cone tag, mirror drills.

POWER & EXPLOSION
Sled work, first-step reaction drills, broad jump, single leg bounds and sprint brackets.

SEPARATION & REACTION
1v1 separation work (creating space from a defender), marking & closeout drills, hand-eye tracking circuit.

05
CHAMPIONSHIP & SHOWCASE
Personal best time trials, team relay championship, 1v1 competitive finals, parents welcome to watch!
WEATHER POLICY
GameSpeed Camp runs outdoors at Ada Johnson Park. Sessions proceed as scheduled in light rain. In severe weather (lightning, storm warning), sessions will move under the canopy and we will improvise as best as possible. No refunds are issued for weather-adjusted sessions; makeup content will be provided where possible.
